Star Filter Pro Photoshop Actions

Add beautiful stars to your night photos! These Photoshop actions let you simulate photographic star filters in various shapes and sizes.

Loading the Photoshop Actions

  1. Doubleclick on the ATN file with the filename that corresponds with your Photoshop version. For example, if you're using Photoshop CC, open the Star Filter Pro by SparkleStock (Photoshop CC Edition).atn file.
  2. In Photoshop, go to the Actions panel (Window > Actions). If you do not find the actions here, you'll need to load it manually by clicking on the panel menu (top-right of the panel) and clicking Load. Browse for the ATN file then click OK.

How to Use

In the Actions panel, select the Create Mask action then click on the play button located on the bottom of the panel. Wait for the action to complete then paint over any areas that you do not want the star filter to appear at. Next, play any actions under the Step 2 section. When it's done playing, go to the History panel (Window > History) to select an effect.
